Need the housing to match this handle and key lock I bought from You Guys

Hi team,

I bought these 2 items to replace existing locket set I have on my sliding door. But when we tried to install the handle and key lock in existing locketset it didn't fit. So seems like I will need a matching Locket housing which goes into the door and matches to these handles and key lock & housing. Can you let me know which one is that.

Hi Gursi. Sorry to hear you have trouble installing the 82-315 to the 82-079. To be honest I am not sure why this would be the case; the two parts are absolutely compatible. Could you clarify what you mean when you say that the lockset didn't fit? Photos might also be helpful. Many thanks.

So as part of this delivery i have the handle and the lock set with the key. But the existing setup in the door into which this lock set should engage and work, its not working with it. So thats why i am thinking, that i need to buy the setup which goes into the door also, which has the hook in it which locks the door.

Ah, OK, now I understand. It sounds like you need to replace your mortise lock as well. Based on the photos of your lock set from this old discussion, it looks like you need our 82-218. Take a look and see what you think.

This part number u shared will fit the handles and the existing key lockstep I have?

Our 82-218 looks just like what you have in your photo and should be fully compatible with the hardware you purchased. It will very likely work with your existing handle set, as well, if you decide to stick with that.
