Need to know the spring coil part number (dual style)

I need to replace the spring coil assembly on my anlin single hung windows.
It is a dual style coil assembly. the top coil has a part number called 6y engraved
and the bottom coil has 5 engraved. part number stamp on the white plastic piece is already erased.

Series: Catalina SH
aama/ nwwda 101/ is 2-997 (H-R20- 48X96).

Hi Partha,

The two coil springs in your old coil balance system were stamped 5 and 6, respectively. Stamps on coil springs designate the weight each coil spring is meant to support, so these were 5 lb and 6 lb springs. The amount of support has to be even on both sides of the sash. So we know that your old setup had 11 lbs of support on both sides of the sash, equaling 22 lbs of total support. It's possible your sash weighs slightly more or less than this amount, but that's okay when it comes to coil balances so long as it's not a big difference. Hope this makes sense!
