The part I ordered seems to be for opposite hand. From inside room doors slides to its left.

Thanks for reaching out to us. I see you purchased the 82-240 but we don't sell another version of this lever. This is specifically designed to work with the 82-080 and 82-081 handle set. Would it be possible for us to see a photo of your old handle assembly?
