Need to replace lock on this old (1980s?) sliding door

Handy Person from Huntington Beach
My son just moved into a "new" condo and we can't find this sliding glass door handle anywhere. The screws attach to the handles through the end of the door. A PVC pipe is currently being used as a lock.
Would appreciate any suggestions of possible current parts we can use.
As seen in the photos the door frame is very narrow.

Thanks for reaching out to us. I recognize this handle set. We sold it at one time but it was discontinued many years ago and our stock ran out in around 2018. According to our records it was used on doors made by Guaranteed Products.

Due to its unique design, we have nothing in our inventory that can work as an alternative. The fact that it screws to the side trim of the door like that really precludes any modern handle set from replacing it, since they all screw right to the face of the door.

I am sorry for the inconvenience. There's just nothing around that I'm aware of that can replace this.
