Tube length is 28 1/2 inches long and 3/8 inch think. I tip is broken but it appears to be red. Can you please provide me with the model number of the spiral balance I need for my tilt out window.

I re-measured the spiral balance tube that needs to be replaced on my tilt out window and it is exactly 28 1/2 inches long (which seems like an odd size). I measured the tube only. Do I need to replace it with a tube 28 inches or 29 inches, please advise. Thanks.

Thanks for posting! I think you can get away with using our S900-29 spiral balance with a Red Tip.

Paul,
I ordered and installed a pair of your S900-29 spiral balances with a red tip as you suggested and they worked perfectly. I watched your video and installation was a snap.
Thanks for your help.
