Need to replace the coil spring

Hi there,

My window has a broken coil spring and I plan to replace it. My window sash weighs about 7.11 lbs. Would you help me identify the parts I should purchase, please?

Hello!

Certainly. I recommend our 15-087 that's designed to be used with the Series 180 coil springs. You can use (1) S180-4 4 pound coil spring on each side of the window which totals 8 pounds of overall support. This weight setup should be fine as long as the weights are within a pound of your sash's actual weight.
