The the spring loaded bar seems to be ok - the plastic angled parts that mount onto the window are broken.

Thank you for the reply. my part is dimensionally the same as 18-188 however the hole on the top portion is oval-shaped, I'm not sure that matters- this feature is visible in picture #2. Please advise if this is necessary or does not matter / will not affect the functionality.

As long as the dimensions match up and the screw installs in the center of the sash, the 18-188 should work for you. The elongated hole can provide more diversity of the installation hole is offset on the sash, so you may want to check your sash before ordering.
