Needing to replace the Sliding shoe (I think)

Sorry I can only show you the part as installed and as broken since otherwise I would have to dismantle the window. I don't know the brand of the window, but the metal does say "Truth" and 30905 on it. The townhome was built in 1995 so the window is probably that old This "Truth" metal is not connected to the black plastic sliding shoe, which is the only piece that's broken. Thank you!

The piece shown here is the track slider for the casement window hinge. This part is not sold separately so you'll need to replace the entire assembly.

I'll need to know the length of the track this piece slides in to confirm the best replacement option for the repair.

Thank you Jasmine! I'm not sure what you mean by the length of the track. Can you mark on the photo to show me where the beginning and end of the measurement is that you are asking about?

Hello,

The track is a bit cut off, so I would not be able to mark the entire part. However, the track is the long metal piece, installed to the window sill.

Take a look at the diagram for the 36-048. The track is the marked by the 10" measurement. If the measurements for this aren't a match for your hinge, I'll need to know the length of your track.

Thank you Jasmine. I'll try sending close up photos of the one I have here. It resembles the example you sent with some differences, whose importance I can't judge. For example, the black sliding shoe (or is it called track slider?) is much larger on mine. But the piece that you have marked as 10" is on mine also 10" (or maybe 10 and 1/16.) But then there's also a shorter thin solid piece between the black piece and the 10 inch piece which is 6 1/2 (or perhaps 6 and 7/16) inches long. Are you able to see that?

Another option is the 36-004-10 Stainless Steel 2-Bar Hinge Set. Either this or the 36-048 should work for the repair. You'll just need to compare the dimensions to determine which of them fits the best.

That looks much closer. As you are one of Truth's preferred re-sellers, do you have a catalog showing the equivalents of Truth to what you are offering? Or do you in fact sell Truth hardware? The hinge I have is labeled "Truth 30905". It looks like Truth no longer sells a model labeled as 30905. My thanks!
