New Andersen balance won't hold up

I just installed my pair of new Andersen balances, which I ordered from Swisco on order number 974782.
The upper sash won't stay up. It drops about 8" if unsupported.

My original balances have these numbers on them:
1600-17 1027 2 11600-17

The visible glass on both sashes is 24" vertical.

I ordered the 24-531.

The key code on your balance is that "1027." It's the name of a particular model of Andersen balance. We replace the 1027 balance with our 24-1033. Based on the glass dimensions you provided, this makes sense.
