New aluminum sliding glass doors have large gaps top and bottom...loosing warm air

A home owner from Arizona says:
Hello

Is there a plug that can me inserted on the Top and bottom of a JeldWen sliding glass aluminum door to close the gap?

We are loosing heated air and rooms feeling colder then other parts of the house.

See picture for detail.

Thank you

Hmmm... I'm not sure. We carry the 80-042 and 80-043 draft plugs. Take a look to see if you can adapt either of these to your patio door. It may require cutting or drilling new holes to fit. I suspect that you will need to contact JeldWen directly to see if they have this exact plug. Also take a look at the stick-on 58-180. You could cut off a piece of this foam seal to block the gap. It's not the most elegant solution, but it may work in a pinch.
