New channel balancers

Home Owner from USA
I need some new channel balancers for my windows. I've attached photos as well. I'm not sure which to get. Here are the measurements:

metal to metal length is 27'
plastic to plastic is 28'
width of metal is 5/8'
width of plastic from end to end is about 7/8'

Hey, thanks for posting. I've narrowed this down to two possible channel balance Series: either our Series 380 or our Series 385 balances.

Now, as you can see, there is only one difference between these two Series, and that is their bottom shoe. The Series 380 uses the 15-005 while the Series 385 uses the 15-004. I can't quite tell what you have based on your pictures, though. Please carefully compare their dimensions to your own hardware and see which is a better match.

i was trying to respond to this post and ask how do i know what weight option to choose for the channels? some windows are the big rectangles (2ft x 3ft)and some are the squares (2ft x 2ft) approx length and width...

The shape isn't going to help you determine the weight. The only way to do that is remove the sash from the window and place it on a scale.

So the option is the weightl of the window itself not the weight the channel can hold pers side?

That's correct. You would not split the weight of the sash in half or anything. The weight ranges we show for each option is assuming both balances are holding up that weight.
