New keeper?

I believe I'm in need of a new keeper for this double hook mortise lock. There is a pin on the lock, between the 2 hooks, that must be depressed in order for the handle to throw. Is it possible the keeper had a bump out that depressed that pin? Or is the lock in need of replacement?

Thanks for posting. If you depress the pin manually, do the hooks still throw? If not, then you likely need to replace the mortise lock. Take a look at our 82-238. See if this matches what you need.

If I push the pin in manually, the locks do throw, that's why I figured there was a bump out on the keeper possibly?

Hm, so if the lock is working fine, I would check the alignment of the door. You might need to adjust the rollers so the patio door is plumb with the door jamb. You also want to check that the keeper lines up with the lock, and so that the 89-030 meets the lock properly. Otherwise, it might be possible you need a different keeper, but let's explore these options first. Many thanks.
