NewPro tilt latches

Question

Hi - I'd like to know both a) what part to order to fix the internal window latch and b) how do I get this window apart to do the replacement? I watched one of your videos to see how to do it, but the window in the video has a screw that, when removed, made access to the part easy. I hope you can tell from the photos what it is I need and how to do the repair. Thanks in advance, you folks are great!

Hello!

I can't be sure from these photos, but I wonder if you could have the 26-132P. First, unscrew the two top latches. Then, place a flat putty knife between the top rail and the window sash, and twist it to unlock the top rail.

Once you're able to remove the old latch, compare its specifications with ours to see if the 26-132P could be what you need.
