No existing hardware

Somebody removed the channel guides on both sides from my window so I have no prior channel Lock to look at. How can identify the channel lock I need?

Hello there!

I'm afraid we can't help if the balances are missing. There are too many options, and we have no way of narrowing them down without referencing the original. Is there an identical window in the house? If so, we can use that as a reference if it has intact balances. Do you also happen to know the manufacturer or brand of the window?
