No identifiable markings on existing hardware

A quick learner from Hendersonville, NC says:
Trying to replace this broken handle with a key lock set. The measurement on the handle screws are 3 15/16 but the measurement on the inside of the jam is less.
Also note the broken plastic on the inside jam. Would a replacement be possible based on these pictures?

Bob from SWISCO responded:

The handle set resembles our 82-035, which has a hole spacing of 3-15/16". The mortise lock is our 82-218 sold separately. For the crack in the frame, I am afraid we can't replace the trim, but a local pro or hardware store might be able to repair this for you.
