Replacement part, 1 3/4 mounting holes, polished brass

The spring inside broke, so the latch won't work. I need a replacement, brass if possible and don't need a full handle set. Thanks.

Thanks for writing in. I think our 40-145 can work for you, just go over the dimensions to make sure it matches. Unfortunately, this only comes in white or black. Sorry for any inconvenience.

I ordered the latch, which arrived today, but does not fit. The stem of the outside handle is too large to fit into the opening in the new interior latch. See the picture. Is there a model that has a larger opening that can accommodate the larger stem? Thanks.

Sorry to hear that the 40-145 didn't work for you. The spindle dimension was certainly one thing that might not match. What size spindle does your old handle set have? Our 40-150 can accomodate a 5/16" spindle, take a look and see what you think.
