Attachment screwed are 3 7/8" center to center, and the black lock mechanism (black thing) is 1 1/2 inch from the back of the finish plate (not including the plate/shim that is on it.

Hello,
Take a look at the 38-139 Roto lock shoe below. The hole spacing and fork projections match your measurements, but note the fork is measured from the base of the cover as shown below. Thanks for posting!

Great! The 38-139 is non-handed and can be used for both the right and left sides of the window.
