The whole part is about 3-1/8th inch up and down and 1-1/2 inches wide. It's an old garage window that opens inward awning style but without the mechanism.

I'm sorry to say I don't know what it is you're looking for. Can you show me a photo of it both installed and removed? Can you also describe its function?
