Hello there. This looks like a S395-28 to me. Just make sure the depth of the bottom nylon shoe, or the 'heel-to-toe' measurement, matches your old balance. See the image below for reference. Now, you'll need to choose a stamp option, which designates the strength of the balance. Your old balance's stamp of 27-9 is from an obsolete rating system. To know what stamp option to select, obtain the exact weight of the window sash that this balance supports. On the S395-28 you will see a chart under the product description. This chart shows the corresponding weight range for each and every stamp option we list. You can use that chart to find the right stamp option for your balance.
