Non-Tilt Window Balance 1/2" x 27" (metal only measurement)

I recently ordered some sash guides 18-171 Stepped Sash Guide, Alpine. They fit my current balances and matched my old ones perfectly. Unfortunately, they didn't fix the problem of the balances shooting up out of place. We have a manufactured home built in 2005. The balances look ok, but they may just be worn out. I would like to order a few to try. Will you please help me choose the correct balance to order?

The markings on the balance are 26 4

Hi, Frances.

Certainly! I recommend our S380-27 or S385-27 channel balance. These look like a great match for your hardware but you'll need to measure as shown below to see which replacement option you'll need. The Series 380 has a 1" deep shoe and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" deep shoe. You will also need to select the 2640 option, based on your 26 4 stamp.
