Non Tilt Window Channel Balance

We can supply replacement balances through a custom order but the manufacturer recently discontinued your exact series. Note that the end fittings will be slightly different, and the metal channel length will measure 25-7/8" long compared to the 25-5/8" length of the originals. The manufacturer says that these will work as replacements and we've had a customer confirm that they were able to install the new replacements. Please verify that your balance is stamped with 25-5. We’ll also need to know the exact weight of your sash to verify the proper calibration for the new style balance, as well as the number of replacements you need. Please note that the minimum is two.  

Your exact Top Sash Guide is not available, but we think the 18-009 could work as a replacement if the dimensions match up to yours, with the sole exception of the "trim" on the top end of the guide. You'll have to cut that down with a utility knife in order to get the clearance necessary for installation. Make sure to wear safety gloves when you do this, just in case, and note that products cannot be returned for a refund after being altered.
