Non-Tilt Window sash channel assemblies

A quick learner from USA says:
I am looking at purchasing channel assemblies for my windows. They are non
tilt. I believe the first set I need will be the 19" Series 350 Channel Balance
Product Code: S350-19. My existing channel has the number 18 4 stamped on
it and is 9/16" wide. My question is how do you pick the "Sash Weight Range"?
Is that simply the weight of the sliding part of the window?
Also, I assume all the Take Out Clips are all the same.
Thanks in advance for your help and I'm so happy to have found your site.

Thanks for posting. The stamp option is a code that denotes how much weight two balances on either side of the sash, working together, can support. Your original stamp reads "18 4," which usually corresponds to our 1840 option. That said, you can always weigh your sash on a scale to confirm. We have a chart on the S350-19 store page showing how much weight each option can support.
