Non-tilt balance for single hung vinyl window 35" height

Question

Hi, I need to replace two non-tilt balances on a 35" tall vinyl window so I'll need the S385-32, I believe. The number on the existing balance is 31 3 Caldwell. A window repair service was going to order FA3130 from another supplier but I decided to do it myself aftyer seeing his estimate and I've bought balances from you in the past. Which balance would you suggest?

Your best option is to compare the weight of the sash to the weight range listed for the 3130 stamp option (16 to 23 pounds) and be sure your sash is within range. You should also make sure that your old channel measures 32 inches in length, without measuring the plastic shoe or top. Finally, verify that your old channel balance is 1/2 inch wide, and that the shoe and top provided with S385-32 match the shoe and top on your old balance.
