Non tilt channel Balances

 Hi I have a windows do not stay open these windows were installed in 2006 , the balances are for non tilt windows,  1/2 wide channel balances as what I see part 28D or 280 not sure .... stock doesn't  show which parts I need please  help  thank you

To further review, are you able to provide a clearer image of the bottom nylon attachment? I need to determine if it is winged out like the top. I believe the marking is 28D, can you confirm that the metal channel excluding the nylon attachments measure 29 inches long? 

From there we can narrow down the correct replacement for you. Thank you!

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S378, S380 or S385 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The main difference is the depth of the bottom shoe. An undamaged balance shoe will need to be measured. 

You will need a 29" balance and the original 28D stamp should translate to a 2840 stamp option that can support a 23-28 pound window sash. We recommend weighing the sash to confirm.
