Non-tilt channel balance

Question

Check and double-check. Existing channel balances are 27" length x 1/2" wide. Stamped markings: 26 4 FX CMC 11 and 26 4 FX CMC 7. They seem to be identical. I'm surmizing that would be replacement 385. The bottom plastic part measures 1 3/32".
Please give me your input....Thank you.

Thanks for posting! Yes, if the shoe on your balances measures 1-3/32", the S385-27 should be the right replacement for your repairs.

You can very likely use the 2640 stamp option for the replacements but it would be a good idea to double check the sash weight. This stamp will support a sash weighing 19 to 26lbs.
