Non tilt spiral window balance

Quick Learner from Cape May NJ
Hello, I am fixing the wooden windows in my attic and am looking for replacement spiral window balances and the attachment pieces that nail to the bottom of the sash. The length of the tubes are 19" and 5/8" in diameter with white tips. The attachment piece is 2 3/4" long and I didn't see them on your website. I'm attaching a pic of one of them. How much will the replacement spiral balances and attachment piece cost?
Thanks, Keven

Hello, Keven. For your wood sashes, you will need our S500-19 with red tip balances, along with the, 17-012 balance brackets. These brackets hook on the balance spiral. To install these balances, you would drop them from the top on the side of the sash. Use a screw like the 33-017 screw to attach the balance tubes at the top. Now raise the sash and have someone hold it up while you attach the 17-012 with 33-090 screw while the U-shape opening corrals the spiral. With your finger bring up the spiral to the bracket and attach the 75-005 charging tool and turn the spiral clockwise three turns and hook it to the fork of the bracket. Repeat the other side and try the sash. If sash creeps down, raise and hold up the sash and give the balances another turn or two.

Hopefully this helps you. Get back to us and let us know how everything works out for you.
