I have a 1/2 inch wide window balance that the cord snapped. I believe it is a 380 1320 but would like you to confirm for my part order. The markings on the balance say 13 2 Caldwell.

Hey Brian. I do think this is either a Series 380 or Series 385, depending on the depth of the bottom nylon shoe; but before proceeding, can you send me photos of the 'guts' or underside of the metal channel? Some balances from the west coast have a special design we must account for. We'll do our best to help from there.

Thanks for the quick reply. I am attaching a picture of the "guts" and width of the bottom nylon shoe.

Thanks, that's perfect. This indeed looks like the S380-14 or S385-14 Channel Balance, depending on the bottom shoe depth. See the diagram below. Measure your old shoe depth to see what matches best. For a stamp option choose 1320.
