Non tilt window balance identification

Quick Learner from USA

I have attached a photo and drawing of a window balance that I need help with.

Please identify so I can place an order.

Thanks for your help.

I will be duplicating my order. I will need 5/8 diameter,18 pieces 30 inch with blue tip, 4 pieces 18 inch with blue tip, and 6 37 inch with black tip. I purchased the wrong items the first time and will need to return them for credit. Do I request a call tag or need a return authorisation number? My client requested that I paint the rods white so some are painted let me know if these are returnable? Do you have the option for white rods or plastic sleeve covers?

Thank you for your help.

Length of pin needs to be 1/2" pin , not 1/4". Needs Balance Lengths 30, 18, 37 inch. He needs a double pin for Non-Tilt. Is there a hole at the bottom where you can charge it? The S500 may work, and a half inch blade.

Is the Tilt Window (Double Pin) pin configuration available for a Non-Tilt Window?

Hey there,

Thanks for reaching out to us! I'm sorry to hear that your order did not work out for you but I'm happy to take a look into this for you. To get you the right balances you need, we'll need to start from the beginning of the process to properly identify them.

To start, we do not typically see non-tilt spiral balances made with two tabs at the end of the. What you have pictured here is most certainly a tilt window spiral balance but that does not mean that it is the correct balance for the window.

That said, I would like to see a photo of the window itself as well as any other components, like clips or shoes, that might be on the side of the window channel or installed to the bottom of the sash.

In regard to your return, you would not be able to return the balances you painted. Per our return policy, we do not accept returns for parts that have been altered.  The full return policy can be reviewed here. You can also use the link at the bottom of the page to submit the request for your return.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to us with any questions you might have in the meantime.
