Non-tilt window balance needed

The string snapped and the balance no longer functions. There's a marking on the side that I think reads "21 4 FT CMC 2". Measuring the metal channel only comes out to 22in. Width of channel is 1/2in. I believe the shoe is 1in.

Also, the window sash weighs about 15lbs.

Hello, thanks for posting! It looks like you could have either our S390-22 or S351-22 with the 2140 stamp option. The difference between the Series 390 and Series 351 lies in the depth of the shoe. Take a look at the picture below for more detail. Once you have determined this dimension you should be able to select the appropriate balance.
