Non-tilt window channel balance

Home Owner from Orlando
I would like to replace some of my original window channel balances and am looking to identify the correct replacement. The metal channel is 24" long and the channel is stamped with "2310". Below the stamp is the letters "BSI". I have included photos. Thanks.

Hey there!

Thank you for contacting us. Take a look at the S380-24 and S385-24 channel balances. The best match will depend on the depth of the bottom shoe so you'll have to measure as shown below. You can also select the 2310 stamp option for your replacement balances.

Thanks. The depth of the bottom shoe on the channel balance is 15/16". Do you think the S380 will work or do you have a channel balance with a shoe with less depth?

Can you double-check the depth for us? We have the 15-029 that's 7/8" deep which is very close to your measurement so it couldn't hurt to check just to be safe. If it's indeed 7/8", this would have to be a custom order since we don't have a stock balance that uses the 15-029 shoe.

I measured the depth with calipers and it measures 7/8 inch. How do I find out the price for a custom balance with the 15-029 bottom shoe?

Thanks for confirming! Can you also confirm the number of balances you're looking to order? From there, I can draft a price quote and then email you a purchase link for the custom balances.

I would want to order 8 of the 24" balances with code 2310 and 6 of the 30" balances. I will need to confirm the weight code for the 30" balance.

Sounds good. Let me know when you have that stamp code for us, no rush!

The 30" channel balance has a stamp code of 2915.

Hmm, I wasn't expecting that kind of stamp. 2915 isn't a stamp option we have. Can you weigh the window sash on a scale and tell us the precise weight? That will allow us to determine the proper stamp option.

Home Owner from Orlando
The window sash weighs 12.5 lbs.

Great, thank you! The stamp we'll use for the 30" replacements will be 2920; a pair of balances with this stamp will support a sash weighing 12 to 16 pounds.

I'll go ahead and email you a purchase link for (8) balances with the 2310 stamp and (6) balances with the 2920 stamp that you can use to place an order on our website. The balances will come attached with the 19-005 winged top fittings and 15-029 winged 7/8" deep shoes, and will be ready to install out of the box.

Please let us know if you have any questions!
