Non tilt wooden window

A handy person from New york says:
Hi I'm working on a project and spring on top part of window is 3/8"
Majority of windows have measurement of 27"
The description that I'm reading from your product is that the top tube is 5/8".
Do you have anything ideas or suggestions?
Thanks.

This looks like a very old style balance. You may be able to use our Series 500 spiral balance along with a bottom bracket like our 17-012. Look these parts over and see what you think.

To determine length, you want to measure the visible glass and add 3" for the bottom sash or  1" if it's the top sash.
