Norandex sash guide

Question

The white plastic cap after 20 years is failing and the sash spring and guide comes flying upward. Is the cap a separate part or combined with the guide.  The guide seems to remain intact but I cannot hold the spring down without the top plastic cap.

Sounds like you just need a top sash guide. We can definitely help, but I'll need you to remove an undamaged version of the top sash guide from the window and show me a clear picture of it from the front and side. Think of it like a mugshot. Dimensions would also be a huge help.
