Norco balance replacements

A quick learner from wi says:
1996 norco double hung with compression vinyl tracks. I need to replace at least 1 of the balances. Is there a easy way to do it with out removign the vinyl tracks, it apprears to have a short s clip at the top? the replacement is a 751 30"hd.
If not how do I remove the tracks, there are no screws visable?

Unfortunately, there's no way to replace these balances without removing the jamb liner first. If there are no screws on the trim piece holding the jamb in, then you'll have to find some other way to remove it. If it's nailed in you could pry it out. If it's glued in then you're in some trouble; it's possible whoever made this window never intended for this hardware to be repaired, so you'll have to contend with that. You might want a professional to come out and take a look at your windows in that circumstance.

A quick learner from wi says:
If it has clips that hold the jamb liner how do they attach?
Do you sell jamb liners if I wreck this one?

Tom from SWISCO responded:

I'm not sure, it would depend in the clips I suppose. What kind of clips are you talking about, exactly?

I'm afraid we do not sell replacement jamb liners.

A home owner from Delavan WI says:

Tom from SWISCO responded:

Your best bet would be the original window manufacturer. If you are unable to contact them directly then a local mill work who still makes wood windows may be able to assist you.

I am sorry that we can't be of more help. Jamb liners are just not something we sell.
