Not a clue

Question

Good evening,
I recently installed new channel balances on a window, which were a perfect match, so thank you! But upon installation one side was not catching, and on further inspection we discovered that this piece was also broken. Honestly, I don't know what it is called. If necessary, I can remove the window and get a picture of the one on the other side. This piece sits at the top corner of the window and engages the channel balance. Your help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks for posting! The part you're referring to is called a top sash guide. I'm afraid I'll need to see it undamaged in order to provide a better identification. Could you please upload a picture of the unbroken side?
