Not quite your S380 balance

Question

My neighbor here in Land o Lakes, FL, said he solved his window problem with Swisco's Series 380 balance (587156).
But the top of my balances looks different than the top of your S380. What do you suggest? The homes are only ten years old.

Thanks for contacting us. I wouldn't worry about the shape of the top attachment. This part serves a very simple function, so as long as the general style is the same, and as long as it still has those "wings," you should be okay.
