Not sure about window balance stamp

Question

Stamp on my old window balance is 28 1/4 4 I'm not sure what weight I should choose I've narrowed it down to series 351 29in

Looks like you need a specially made balance. Can you just confirm that the length of the metal channel is 28-1/4"? If it is, then a 29" long balance won't work.
