Hello,
I need to order 2 channel balances. Non-tilting balance. 3/8" width.
Not sure which model to order S800 or S810?
S800 looks like my balance (see photo) but doesn't have "wings".
S810 does not look like my current balance but has "wings"
Also, I measure (metal portion only) 31 3/4" in length - do I order 31" length or 32" length?
The stamp on my balance = 31-5

Thanks for posting! I'm happy to recommend a replacement for your channel balances but I'll need to see a photo of the bottom shoe to confirm the exact replacement you need, and if it is something we can supply. Given the length of your balance, I believe this may be a custom assembly.
The 3/8" channels we have do not have the type of top guide you have shown here in the photo. That said, I do not believe you have the Series 800 or the Series 810.

Thanks for the photos! The balances you have are an Extended-Travel Channel Balance and will need to be a custom assembly. These can be identified by the wheel and clip attached directly to the shoe. The metal channel should also have a length of 31-5/8".
