Paul from SWISCO responded:

Hi there-

Does your 3/8" diameter measurement you gave include the plastic tubing? If not, we believe you have a 5/8" thick Series 600-28" tilt balance. We replaced the white tip to a heavier red tip that can carry a sash weight between 7-29 lbs. Look everything over and let us know what you think.

A home owner from georgia says:
Yes outer portion is 3/8

Paul from SWISCO responded:

Okay, great. If your outer tube is only 3/8" in diameter then we recommend the Series 900. I just wanted to confirm you weren't measuring the inside spring by mistake.
