Question

I recently purchased this home and I would like to change the hardware as it is lose and for security purposes. We do not have the Existing key and we don't like the idea of not knowing who might have that key. I would either like to replace it with the same model or I am open to replacing it with a compatible model. the center to center on the screws is closer to 4 inches (maybe 3 7/8"?) even though the image doesn't quite show it well. Please let me know the hardware and the mortis that I should be replacing it with and if I need to buy the strike plate portion that gets mounted on the jamb.

Thanks for reaching out! This door handle can be replaced with the 82-030A Centered Keyed Handle Set. I'm confident this should be the correct replacement but be sure to take a look over the specifications.

The mortise lock (sold separately from the set) appears to be the 82-227. Should you decide to replace it. Its specifications can be found on the website.
