I have a broken piece to this handle and it would not crank my window.

This handle might be our 39-226, which has a 5/16" male hex. Compare and see what you think. Note however if the worm gear in the operator popped out with this handle, the entire mechanism has broken down and must be replaced. Let me know if you have further questions.
