OWEN CORNING WINDOW BALANCER SHOE

Question

Our customer has a window from 1997, Owen Corning is the brand and the balancer has broken. Are you able to find this part or something universal?

Hi Jacqueline,

Thanks for writing in! I'm sorry to say that a universal balance is not something that exists. You'll need to replace the balance in the window, with the same type of hardware that is already there.

With that said, it is a bit difficult to tell the exact balance you have here in the photos. I'll need to see a clearer end of the balance and how it attaches to the bottom corners of the sash, which would typically be a bracket or a clip.
