I think my sliding door handle has an offset lock lever but a centered key cylinder. Do you have something like that? The tumbler bar actually fits into the bottom hole. The holes are slightly less than one inch apart c/c. I can move the bottom hook with a screwdriver from the bottom hole. The top hole seems to move both hooks.
