Old Alenco Windows, part that centers the window pane

Hey there! Thank you very much in advance for your help on this. Newly purchased house was built in 1986, original Alenco windows. Many of them are missing the small piece shown in the pictures. The windows that were not missing any parts had one of these at each corner, secured by inserting an extruding dowel from the bottom of the part into a small (~1/8") hole that was pre-drilled in each corner. If there is another (better) way to solve the problem, I am very open to suggestions. Thanks again!

Hello! This part is called a "face guide." We sell a few different styles, which you can see here, but I'm sorry to say that it is a limited selection.
I also can't quite get a good look at yours from these photos to recommend a match. For now, look through the different guides that we offer and see if any would service as a replacement. If not, I'd like to see a clearer picture of this guide removed from the window if at all possible. I can then see if I can track down a good alternative.
