Old Aluminum Window T-slot

Handy Person from San Diego
I'm looking for replacement weather stripping for some old aluminum windows (it's a rental or I'd change them completely).

You can see in the photos that the stripping that is in some of the windows is an odd t-slot shape, with a sort of curved bit angling off from the t-attachment to wrap around the edge of the window where it contacts the frame. The width of the t-attachment is 1/4" and its thickness is about 1/16". When extended straight, the curved bit is 5/8".

I also included a photo of the t-slot itself. The width and thickness of the slot is as above (1/4", 1/16", respectively) and the area in which the stripping sits is about 1/4" square, not including the base area.

I'm not set on having the exact same kind of stripping, something that fits and will seal will do just fine.

Hello,

We did carry weatherstripping similar to yours at one time but, unfortunately, most in this style have been discontinued and no substitute has been found. I'm sorry that we won't be able to assist with this repair but please let us know if you have any other hardware questions. Thanks for posting.
