I have two old aluminum windows that won't stay open and I need new non-tilt spiral balances. I have never done this repair before. The balance is 5/8" wide and 25" long and the tip looks white color (see Balance.jpg). I think I also need to replace the shoe at the bottom of the window that the balance connects into. Can you make sense of what you see in BrokenWindow.jpg and point me to the shoe that I need? I attached two pictures of a working window that may help (WorkingWindow-1 and WorkingWindow-2). Do you have any videos or instructions that could help me in my repair?
I went through your catalog and think I need the following. I'd appreciate any help and confirmation:

Thank you for your patience during this busy season. I agree, our 15-009 looks similar to the shoe I see in your photo, but it's tough to be 100% sure while it's still installed. I think it's our most promising match but you may want to try to remove yours just to be certain beyond any doubt.
As long as the diameter of the tube is 5/8" then our Series 500 is the best option for you.
