Old Florida Aluminum Windows

Home Owner from Sarasota, FL

Hi, I am in need of 8 cranks for the old style aluminum windows. These fit on the end of a long metal shaft that extends outward from the window. Pls help!

Thanks,

Todd

We carry a ton of different operator handles. One of ours may work for you but it depends on the dimensions of your part. Specifically, the diameter of the hole.

If you tell me what your hole diameter is, we can recommend a good match. Please be as precise as physically possible.

Hi Tom,

Thanks for the speedy reply, the depth of the hole is 9/16" (using a pencil) and the width of the hole is 3/8". I need 8 cranks in total but I'm thinking I would buy 1 and see if it works and if it does, I'd buy 7 more.

Thanks again!

Todd

Thanks, Todd. With a hole diameter of 3/8", I think our best option is our 39-104. This has a similar 3/8" diameter hole and is mostly used on older aluminum awning window operators like the 39-259 or 39-025 (among others, these are just random examples).

Now, yours is a very old handle. I can't guarantee that the newer 39-104 will work, but if the hole diameter is the same then I think it's absolutely worth considering.

I'll keep my fingers crossed. Let me know if they work or not. You can also see our return policy here, should the worst case scenario come to pass.
