Old Sliding Door Repair

Quick Learner
Do you have any hardware to help me fix this heavier old bi-fold door? Actually a couple of these could use repair. A few of the top pins are loose. There are wider sliding pins, and a thinner top pivot pin. Both are screwed in, and have loosened quite a bit. Would a metal spring pin work as the thinner pivot? The way the house has settled, there is only a little engagement on the tip, so they could be longer. One of the doors has really been bored out for a bad sliding pin fix. May need something creative there.

Hello, thank you for posting,

The first thing that I came up in repairing your door pins was the 23-126 & 23-127. The diameter of the housing is 3/8", the length of the housing is 3/4" and the tip of the pin is 1/4". The top spring loaded pin extends 3/4" and the 23-127 bottom adjusting pins extends up to 1". I cannot guarantee these will be a direct fit, but take a look to see if  you think these could work for you.

Let us know what you think!
