This lock looks like a match for our 90-213. Look it over and let me know if you agree.

This thread and lots of others seem to be looking for the same old 1980s latch. The hole spacing is slightly off, 1.25" not 1-5/16 and it has a 2-layer housing approx 1/2" thick that goes into the window. The one-dimensional pic does not have nearly enough dimensions shown for me to compare much to your 90-213. If we buy one and it doesn't fit, is it returnable?

It is returnable, yes. You can see our return policy here. 

Your original lock is unfortunately no longer made. The 90-213 is the only part we know of that has any chance of working; some customers have told me it works well, others told me they had trouble getting it to work. If you're handy, then I think it's a promising option.
