Old Viking Window Balancers

Hello, I need to replace some window balancers on some 23 year old Viking windows. I've uploaded photos and the weight of the sash is 25 pounds. The Balancers are 27 inches metal to metal and 1/2 inch wide. The one end has the numbers 2690, BSI, NL, 29 on it.

Hello there. This looks like an S395-27 Channel Balance to me. For the stamp option, you have to choose what reflects the weight range the balance can support. For a sash that weighs exactly 25 pounds, you'd want to choose 2640, which reflects a balance that can support a sash in the weight range of 19 through 26 pounds. However that stamp of 29 reflects you might need 2650, which is for a range of 26 through 30 pounds. Double-check the sash weight to be safe before proceeding.
