Old Window Closer

Question

Good afternoon.

I have a customer who is trying to replace a window part on an old aluminum window. She provided me with some photos that are attached. The part in question is secured to the window with the 2 screws on the top as shown.

The customer is stating that the window closes shut with that part latching on the frame.

Let me know if you can identify this part or if you need more information from my customer.

Unfortunately, we do not carry a replacement for the old-style window latch shown in your photos. I'm sorry that we won't be able to assist with this repair but please let us know if you have any other hardware questions. Thanks for posting.
